ABOUT THIS SITE California Forward has been actively seeking to better understand the public’s perceptions of California’s chronic governance problems (e.g. partisan stalemates, poor fiscal policies, inadequate public programs, insufficient public engagement). We know that reform has been elusive, and finding practical solutions with broad bipartisan support is difficult—but we believe it is both essential and achievable. To secure reform, it’s clear that we need to hear from the people of California—and for the past year we have been traveling the state, conducting on-camera interviews with anyone willing to answer our questions. The goal of our Video Wall is to provide insight into what goes on behind the scenes and capture wisdom and war stories from Californians who can speak to how the process really works (or doesn’t).
